Kirsten Vangsness has worked as an American actress since the late 1990s. Her most well-known role was as Penelope Garcia, in the popular police procedural crime show Criminal Minds. The actress has also been featured in its spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior' as well as "Criminal minds: Beyond Borders..' Kirsten Vangsness has appeared in several other television programs as well. Though she's mostly a TV actress but she also has played some small roles in film since making her first appearance in the show business in 1998. In the film industry, she's famous for her performance on "In My Dreams", "The Chicago 8", or even in "Kill me, deadly". She has written articles for The Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes for "Criminal Minds". She is a lover of animals particularly cats. She often rescues and rehabilitates animals that are injured or abandoned.
